Contemporary Visual Arts and Culture Broadsheet is published by the Contemporary Art Centre of SA (CACSA). Broadsheet is currently in it's 40th year of publication.
The Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia (CACSA) is one of Australia's leading contemporary art spaces and publishers, having an historical role presenting an annual program of commissioned gallery and offsite exhibitions and projects, public seminars, lecture series and artist talks; CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ART+CULTURE Broadsheet magazine, artist's monographs and anthologies - as CONTEMPORARY VISUAL ART PROJECTS SA - with the view to promote and develop contemporary visual art practice, critical analysis, debate and writing, both nationally and internationally.
With an international editory advisory board of curators, artists, directors, cultural commentators and academics in London, Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, Mumbai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and Adelaide. Contemporary Visual Art + Culture Broadsheet, as the only free visual arts magazine published in Australia and the region, continues to provide significant critical analysis of both international and national contemporary visual art and cultural events, relevant to both Australia and it's regional neighbours.
Published quarterly, Contemporary Visual Art + Culture Broadsheet is available in galleries, museums, bookshops and other sites of cultural engagement, but given its rapid pickup rate we cannot guarantee availability of each and every issue.
