Applications for the Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia’s PROJECT SPACE 2012 Program are now closed. CACSA is not currently accepting proposals for the Project Space. The following information is provided as a guide only.
The PROJECT SPACE is a flexible and low cost hire venue suited to a wide variety of exhibitions and events- including performances, screenings, talks and forums. The PROJECT SPACE is an ideal exhibition space for emerging artists seeking national exposure, or established artists looking for an alternative venue in which to experiment.
The CACSA will offer support and advice to successful applicants that choose to seek financial assistance from funding bodies for their PROJECT SPACE event.
Preference will be given to applications that engage with the CACSAʼs mission to promote, develop and support contemporary art practice and critical thinking.
APPLICATIONS MUST:
- 1 include a brief cover letter including full contact details of the applicant
- 2 succinctly outline the artistʼs or curatorʼs rationale in 1 page maximum
- 3 be accompanied by visual material directly relating to the proposal such as
previous or proposed art work (CD of jpeg images is preferred)
-4 include a 1 page CV and brief biographical statement
-5 specify suitable months for the project if timing is relevant
-6 be delivered to the CACSA in hard copy no later than 9 August 2012
