The Contemporary Art Centre of SA began as an initiative of artist's and the contemporary arts community. It remains committed to meeting the diverse and changing needs of artists and providing a platform for the multitudinous ideas and practices encompassed by contemporary art.
Becoming an CACSA Member is one way of supporting the vision of the organisation. Members receive notices of all events, invitations to all openings, discounted entry to special events and discounts on CACSA publications, as well as a yearly Broadsheet subscription. Members are also eligible to stand for election to the CACSA Board of Management and to vote for candidates nominating for vacant positions on the Board of Management at the Annual General Meeting.
As a member of the CACSA, you receive the following benefits:
- Broadsheet mailed directly to your home (one year subscription/four issues valued at $25)
- Invitations to all exhibition openings, talks, and events
- 20% discount at Eckersley's art materials and suppliers
- Voting rights at the Annual General Meetings
For many members it is possible to claim your CACSA membership as a tax deduction, and your support will ensure the continued development of the organisation, exhibition and publication programs. Donations to the CACSA of $2.00 and over are tax deductible.
CACSA Memberships can be applied for and paid for online as well as via hardcopies faxed or posted.
